High precision spectroscopy

 

The arrival of a very well-known frequency and ultra-stable reference in laboratories opens the possibility to set up experiences with a high level of precision that were inaccessible yet. Without being exhaustive, we can mention the spectroscopy of hydrogen and its derivatives, high-resolution spectroscopy in the physics of atoms, ions and molecules, the search for parity violation effect in molecules, measuring the Boltzmann constant, ...
